Thank you everyone for your tremendous support.
I thought the best thing to sign off this project with would be a showreel of the best moments of my journey. So here it is...
Day 1 - School Enterprise Competition
The day that ÉIRElert was brought into the world and that I qualified for the Kildare County Final.
Day 2 - Garda Press Office Visit
The day that I visited the Garda Press Office to discuss the project.
DISCLAIMER: The project is in no way associated with/endorsed by An Garda Síochána.
Day 3 - Kildare County Final
The day I managed to win the Kildare County Final of the Student Enterprise Programme. I was over the moon and frankly couldn't believe it. The #RoadToCroker had begun.
Day 4 - Griffith College Competition
A week later, I competed in the Griffith College Enterprise Competition and managed to come away with first prize. I once again could not believe it.
Day 5 - Student Enterprise Programme National Final
The day started off with walking into the programme's showpiece event with an iPhone that was bigger than me.
After I got my stand set up and being judged, I was interviewed by RTÉ News and ended up on News2Day later that evening!
Later in the afternoon, the Kildare LEO team and Mayor of Kildare turned up to support. Thanks also to Denis Godoroja, BOI (not pictured) who turned up to support too!
To top it all off, I was awarded Most Effective Use of Social Media. I was over the moon. What a fantastic finish to an incrdible journey!
A huge thank you must be paid to all of my teachers at Scoil Dara, Kilcock but especially Ms. Claire Doyle and Ms. Elaine McAuliffe, who provided nothing but incredible support throughout this amazing journey.
